Those supreme masters of musical comedy – the Barron Knights – are back with on their 50th anniversary tour with another show to delight their many followers.
Their blend of humour, musicianship and vocals continues to be unmatched after a career which has lasted for half a century.
A typical show will combine rock and roll, blues, soul, country music and harmony with a large helping of humour.
Their original hit, Call Up the Groups, remains as popular as ever and they have plenty of fresh material with their hilarious Viagra song and the highly irreverent Camilla Will Be Queen to a parody of Killer Queen
Added into the mix is a selection of anecdotes that have happened to them along the way.
And what an entertainment journey around the world it has been. They have been international stars since their first chart hit in 1964 and toured with The Beatles that year and The Rolling Stones in ’65.
There have been 14 worldwide hits and more than 300 performances at the London Palladium along the way.
